make a wish
we stopped in corvallis to check out the university on the way home from the coast. we went to the playground in the central park area before heading out. i took simon to the library for a few minutes and out front there was a fountain. simon pulled out a penny from his pocket and wanted to throw it in and make a wish. he turned around and said, "i wish for spiderman powers" and threw the penny over his shoulder.
