camping at the beach

mom and dad took the older two boys camping at the beach on friday. we met them out there saturday afternoon. saturday was sunny and beautiful, but of course i didn't pull out my camera until sunday when it was rainy. ryan, fischer and i made it in our tent until around 2am when, during a huge rainstorm, i got dripped on and decided the sofa bed in my parents 5th wheel sounded nice. the boys had such a blast playing in the water and sand. uh, the water was COLD, that's why i was laughing in that last picture.

the newest members of our crazy but happy family. for the record, i did not put jughead in that bumblebee costume. i guess he thought it was a good place to hide.

Happy Birthday Oliver!

Oliver turned 3 on July 29th. We had a party during our camping trip so on his birthday we just wanted to have a fun family day. Over the weekend we got two kittens (pictures to come) and some friends gave us a swing set. During Ollie's nap we put it and he woke up to some fun birthday surprises.

I have to brag about Ollie a little here. I pulled out the potty chair just last week and he's already has 15 stars on his chart! Including one for a poo poo. (sorry to mention the p word on here, but come on, i'm a mom).
