The Tarquinio's gave him THE gift this year. The one that he flipped over. It was a singing Diego rescue pack with baby jaguar. It was completely adorable how excited he was, and then for at least an hour he and Ryan played Diego in the field next door. Ryan would hide the baby jaguar and then Fischer would hit the button on his pack (for the rescue song) and look for the jaguar.
Oliver absolutely loved preschool this year. So much so that we signed him up for the same class next year. We've become friends with his teacher, Caroline, and are happy to have him in her class again in the fall. He's graduation day also happened to be the day that Fischer got his cast off. Phew!
so, i'm finally taking time to catch up on my picture posts. these were taken in may, during the mom and son event, at the local arboretum. it was a fun time, exploring the animal life in the river, different plants and flowers and even disecting owl throw-up. i'm sure there's a more technical word for that. :) we had a great time!
this is the only picture i took the entire time liisa and shanti were here. i haven't been very good about taking pictures! i didn't even get one when jess came!
