this morning, after trying a new cereal, ollie informed us that it tasted like shower. i'm not sure what that means, but it did make me laugh.

After the parade we went over to Ariane's house so we could see her little chickens. The boys loved them and now want chickens too. NO! Simon started to rethink his comic book career and thought that being a farmer or zoologist might be better. Ollie was so gentle with those little chicks that we started calling him the chicken whisperer.

We went to the Grower's Market with our friends Emilie and Parker. We went every week last season and were happy to be able to go again! We got yummy baked goods, jams and tamales. There wasn't any produce yet, but next week I'm going to get herbs to grow on my windowsill. Hopefully I'll remember to water them this year. After we take a couple loops around the market we let the kids run in the nearby field.
